Dark Copal

100% pure Dark Copal Resin from the 'Araucariaceae' family.

Unlike the pale ceremonial White Copal (Blanco) that is collected fresh, dark copal forms when the resin matures longer on the tree or naturally oxidises, developing richer amber to brown tones.

When burned on charcoal, it releases a warm, resinous fragrance with earthy balsamic notes and a gently smoky depth. The aroma is deeper, earthier and more grounding than the bright clarity of white copal, creating a contemplative and atmospheric incense.
